Laboratory Facility

Theoretical knowledge is put to test only when it is applied to practical situations. Hence, the need of the hour is well-equipped Laboratories for each of the science subjects taught in the school. Laboratories for teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Fashion Studies, Geography, Arts, Psychology, Web Multimedia, Computer Science & Mathematics are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best in teaching aids. There is a special Art room to explore the creative world of colours and drawings.

COMPUTER LAB


The school has perhaps one of the best Computer Labs in the city, equipped with modern hardware and software. 
We encourage students to explore the world of internet, to learn new stuff about the world. We also encourage them to use internet, to make their projects, and to share their knowledge.


LIBRARY

The school has a rich growing library. Emphasis is given to encourage students to use the library not only for the study of course syllabus but also on all round knowledge growth to give them a competitive edge. The library has more then 2000 books on multifarious subjects. We are sure, for those who want to prepare for competitions, the library has much to offer. The growth of the library is a continuous process and it is our desire to keep the library abreast with latest books and of updated versions. The library also subscribes for the Newspapers in different languages.

SPORTS & EVENTS

SPS firmly believes that the physical development is as necessary as mental. Therefore, games and sports are integral part of any growth plan of students. There are many alternative games available in the school for the student to choose one of his interest. There are also guidelines available for improving the game, if one is interested. The games available are Football, Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Carrom etc. Many Students have already played at national level. To inculcate competitive spirit among students, various cultural programmes and allied activities are being organised.

TRANSPORT FACILITY


The parents are relieved from the tension of taking the children to school personally as the school provides transportation facilities at a very subsidized rate.The school has its own transport division with four buses to ferry students from different parts of the town to and fro school and their residence. This facility provides a secure commuting system, time management and all the necessary care to the students.
